The IMPACT-TD Assessment Scale provides a pragmatic approach to capturing the impact of tardive dyskinesia on patients’ lives during routine clinical visits

The IMPACT-TD Assessment Scale is 4-point Likert scale developed by a panel of experts in psychiatry and movement disorder neurology to enable clinicians to rate the impact TD has on various areas, or domains, of daily life (social, physical, vocational/educational/recreational, and psychological/psychiatric).1

An interactive activity was developed that houses a suite of videos featuring real patients discussing the burden TD has on their lives. Users can watch the videos, score each domain using the IMPACT-TD Assessment Scale, access further information about TD impact, and compare their scores with those provided by experts in the field.
